Rev. Steve Lakin is the pastor of our church.

At First Baptist Andersonville,

Tom Jacobs is our Minister of Worship and Administration. Tom began serving at First Baptist in March of 2006 as part-time Worship Leader. In August of 2006, his duties expanded to a full-time position over worship and administration. Tom holds a B.A. in church education from William Carey College and a Masters Degree in Music Composition from the University of Tennessee. Over the past thirty years he has served churches in both Tennessee and Mississippi in different capacities in both part-time and full-time positions. In addition to these experiences, he also was a member of the USAF Band and has worked as musical director in both community and professional theater. He and his wife, Sandy, reside in Powell, TN.

Pastor Jeff Michaels joined our church staff at the beginning of 2007 as Minister of Students.
He was born and raised in Anderson County and has been active in youth ministry since 2004. He holds a BA in multidisciplinary education with a focus in Religion and Communication from Liberty University. He also works part-time at UPS. He and his wife Jessica
were married in December of 2005.

Tana Elkins is our Childrens Ministries Director (see our "Specially for Kids" page). She has served in this position for the last five years.
Tana also has a background
in retail management and lives in Andersonville with her husband and two children.
