Hebrews 12:25-29
"And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day." (John 12:47-48 NKJV)
I. Relinquish a Forsaken Passion
(A) Definition
1. Creation
"God, who made the world and everything in it…He is Lord of heaven and earth…" (Acts 17:24 NKJV)
2. People
"God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself…" (2 Corinthians 5:19 NKJV)
3. A System
"He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him." (John 1:10 NKJV)
"We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the power and control of the evil one." (1 John 5:19 NLT)
"Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you." (1 John 3:13 NKJV)
